Our Journey

One thing that I have always wanted to accomplish is the Iron Man Triathlon. This is a long distance race consisting of a 2.4-mile (3.86 km) swim, a 112-mile (180.25 km) bicycle ride, and a marathon 26.22-mile (42.20 km) run, raced in that order.

As a runner by nature, I decided to try and tackle the marathon portion first. My goal is to run my first marathon by the end of this year at the Surfers Point Marathon in Ventura on November 6th. I’ve just started to test my limits again and have so far reached 1.4 Miles in a little over 2 hours. For anyone wanting to stay up to date with how my progress is going, I’ve made this page here! I’ll be posting updates with my times and distances reach on here as I go.
